I'm alive

I'm still alive!

I'm working on the next chapter of my love story. So don't give up hope on me. I'm going to try to keep up with my promised chapters every Wednesday.

The past few months have been a little crazy with all the holidays, kids in school, writing and massively editing "Zula the Great," and realizing my husband would need to get a new job.

But let's talk about Zula for a minute, okay?

My kids loved their Christmas gift.
They were very impressed when I told them their aunt did all the illustrations.
My oldest started and finished the book on Christmas day. Yeah, she's a pretty fast reader.

I just finished reading the book to my other kids last night. Hearing them laugh over something I had written warmed my heart. And now they're asking when book two will be finished.

Umm, not for several months. Sorry, kids.

While reading the book to them, I came across several typos. Dang it! I thought proof-reading that things 2,784 times would get all the typos out. But apparently it didn't. So I'm going to take out the typos I found (and let's be realistic here, I probably won't get all of them) and then put it up as an e-book on Amazon for free.

At least, I think it will be free. It's possible to do that, right?

So yeah, writing about Zula was super fun and I'm glad my kids enjoyed it.

Meanwhile, it looks like we'll probably have to move, once my husband finds a job. Personally, I hope he finds a job in Arizona/Florida/Texas/somewhere warm. My kids think moving to Minnesota would be great. I think the whole Inside Out movie has them convinced that Minnesota is an ice skating paradise.

So yeah, that's what's been going on. ^^Those are all my excuses for this dying blog. But www friends, don't lose faith in me. I'm coming back!
