Book review: "Count to 10 With a Mouse" is a simply cute picture book for young children

This is a classic picture book of counting to 10, but with a twist. A little mouse, divinely illustrated by Kirsten Richards, chews his way through each page as "Count to 10 With a Mouse" is read.
While the holes through the pages aren't actually there, only illustrations, it's fun to read this book and guess where Mouse is going to chew to next. Both my four-year-old and my seven-year-old loved having this book read to them and eagerly looked forward to seeing where Mouse would journey to.

Simply told, this book has a calming quality that makes it the perfect bedtime story. And really, can you go wrong with the author of, "Goodnight Moon"? I think not.

"Count to 10 With a Mouse" is a cute book, geared toward young listeners, with nothing offensive in it.

American author Margaret Wise Brown died more than six decades ago, but her books are still immensely popular. Illustrator Kirsten Richards lives in the United Kingdom.
