I'm not. At all.
Granted, I have been painting closests and it can be hard to finagle myself into those tight spaces while painting all the shelves. But man, I got so much paint in my hair that my dad and brother both thought I was going gray!
Yeah, that was another classy Liz moment yesterday. When, in the middle of painting, I realized my kids needed to be taken to piano. I did my hair in what I hoped was a messy bun that mostly hid the paint, and headed out. While waiting for lessons to be over, I popped over to my parents' house to say hi to my folks. That's when my own father told me he thought I was going gray. Sheesh!
New subject.
Remember a long time ago, when I set my brother up on 31 blind dates and made him go on crazy outings? Well I was able to replicate one of them last week with my husband and friends.
We played Bowling Poses, i.e.: we bowled in different poses. It was so fun. Only one of us had a three-digit score, everyone else was in the two-digit range (including me).
But guys, next time you're out bowling with friends, try Posed Bowling! We bowled backwards, between our date's legs (go easy on that one), sanding on one leg, while dizzy, and, my personal favorite, while taking selfie videos.
Liz, This is Clayton's mom. I LOVED your article in Wednesday's Deseret News and especially the part about MY KIDS!!! You are a gifted and talented writer! I've spent the last hour reading through stuff on your blog and enjoying it so much.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words! I think your kids are amazing. And I love their story. :)
DeleteSo you weren't really going grey!
