Book review: 'The Big Book Adventure' is a cute picture book for kids

There's something about "The Big Book Adventure" that had me thinking back to a book I acquired long ago, that I still read to my kids, called "I Love My Little Storybook." Both are cute books about one character enthusiastically telling another how reading has made him feel like he's lived another life of adventure and fun.

While it has an exciting title, "The Big Book Adventure" was actually a calm story book I enjoyed reading to my young children. As I read through its pages, they were able to point to almost every picture and say something like, "I know which book he's is talking about!" Hearing someone in a book describe a book, or movie, they enjoyed made this book more personable to them than I could have imagined.

Throughout this book, Pig and Fox tell each other about reading classics such as, "Little Red Riding Hood," "Peter Pan," Alice In Wonderland," and many others. The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous and my kids wanted me to wait until they were finished looking at the pictures before moving on.

"The Big Book Adventure" has been a fun addition to our summer reading that both my children and I have enjoyed. This clean book is a great way to spend a few minutes with your kids.
