There are two new books my 18-month-old has been into lately and,
"Little Kids First Board Book: Space" is one of them. Now, she obviously can't read the words, but she loves the pictures. Also, by having my older kids read the book to her they are learning something.
As a parent, you sometimes have to be sneaky about inserting learning into children's lives; assigning your older kids to read to the younger ones is one of those ways.

Nat Geo Kids did a great job using bold, bright colors for this book. Toddlers love colors like these. Now don't worry, there aren't any annoying colors or too many crazy graphics that'll put parent readers off. The publisher has kept things classy.
Also, like
Nat Geo Kids' other new release in this series, there is the perfect amount of words per page. As in, your toddler's attention will be kept throughout the entire book.

All 26 pages are sturdy board book pages, so after you've read this to your toddler, he can carry it off and sit on it, throw it, and continue looking at it without you worrying about it falling apart.
I'm not the only mom whose kids use don't always treat books with the utmost respect, right?
